THE ORGANISATION

Established in 1985, Moorcroft Group is a professional, efficient and effective debt recovery solutions provider with the head office in Cheshire.

Moorcroft’s has grown rapidly and have built the business and reputation by working in partnership with their clients.  They have over 1.5 million live accounts on their system and combined head office and nationwide field force of 1,800 employees.

Supporting such a large client base and a diverse workforce produces 1 million documents per year from a legacy print platform that had grown but not evolved. These were supported by a number of different companies as well as their internal resource. Moorcroft had no clear control of their office print costs or support needs.

 

THE BRIEF

Moorcroft needed to simplify their print fleet, working with a supplier capable of providing a high level of support to their infrastructure of various hardware and software technologies and a support program which minimises day-to-day basis staff involvement.

The company also required a single billing platform that is flexible enough to meet the growing challenges of the business and give accurate quarterly management data. In addition, Moorcroft wanted to reduce costs while consolidating the printer fleet.

 

 

 

THE SOLUTION

 Using data gathered from a print audit, M2 produced a working document and report that recommended a balanced deployment incorporating multi-functional devices as well as replacing a number of their less effective single function devices.

The M2 managed print service provided Moorcroft’s with a solution that includes the best of breed products, integrating M2 software into Moorcroft's legacy systems. This now provides vastly simplified quarterly management reports and the cost benefits required.
